Actually, SPIKER stands for Special Purpose IED Killer Experimental Robot. I think Spiker is a cool name (especially when said with an Aussie accent) but does the Ministry of Defense really want the words "Killer Experimental Robot" in their robot's name? Click on the post title to read more.
